Overall, if it weren’t for the family and friends we were with it would have been a disappointment, we made a fun vacation out of it though. Pool staff is entertaining with activities throughout the day. Other than the mini bar in the room, beer is served on tap so be prepared for that. How many times do you have to say NO before they let you leave? For us that was about 10 times to 2 different people. Had to take the “sales pitch” tour in order to keep our “deal” we received, 3 hours of my life I will never get back. Food was below average, best we had was the pizza by the pool. Rooms are average at best, small bathroom and bed was very firm. You would think if you’re trying to recruit new members you might want to give them a decent room with some what of a view. First impression was not great, after waiting about a half hour we finally received our room and received a wonderful room facing the back of the resort overlooking the rooftop and a/c units, that’s sarcasm by the way. Trip was for our sons high school graduation and we were joining a larger group for our first visit to GR. Booked GR Solaris through a resort member and received a good deal.
